Course Overview

Digital imaging is an essential method of communication in our visual and technologically evolving culture. Daily, most of us are bombarded with images on social media, apps on our phones or tablet, printed visuals, and images on television, for example. Creativity is the driving force in this visually driven culture. This course is an introduction to a variety of uses of digital imaging. Industry standard software, Adobe Photoshop CS6, will be used as a tool to create and problem-solve.  Assignments may also use digital cameras, drawing tablets, scanners, and printers.
